Just Some Music To Rock Your Soul
Music like this is just so good any further commentary on my part would be a sin.
Canned Heat - On The Road Again lyrics
Well I'm so tired of cryin' but I'm out on the road again - I'm on the road again.
Well I'm so tired of cryin' but I'm out on the road again - I'm on the road again.
I ain't got no woman just to call my special friend.
And I'm going to leave the city, got to go away.
I'm going to leave the city, got to go away.
All this fussing and fighting, man I sure can't stay.
You know the first time I travelled out in the rain and snow - in the rain and snow.
You know the first time I travelled out in the rain and snow - in the rain and snow.
I didn't have no fellow, not even no place to go.
And my dear mother left me when I was quite young - when I was quite young.
And my dear mother left me when I was quite young - when I was quite young.
She said "Lord have mercy on my wicked son."
--- Break ---
Take a hint from me mama please don't you cry no more - don't you cry no more.
Take a hint from me mama please don't you cry no more - don't you cry no more.
Cause it's soon one morning down the road I'm gone.
But I ain't going down that long and lonesome road - all by myself.
But I ain't going down that long and lonesome road - all by myself.
I can't carry you baby, gonna carry somebody else.

Thinking About Stormy Daniels Reminded Me Of This Song
If you have trouble with the Daily Motion player, you can watch this on You Tube also. Sadly You Tube had embedding disabled.
Just Once (opens in new window)
On a side note, I met David Lee several years ago and he is as nice a person as they come. Yes, Punk Perrie occasionally listens to country music. However I still say, "BARF ON GARTH."
But please remember, a vote for Stormy Daniels is a vote for honest government.

Both Sides Now
Not sure why I am posting this here now other than this song popped back up in my mind. If I was to say I had a single all time favorite song, this one would be it. So full of memories and promise. A reminder of how sweet this adventure, this thing we call life is.

The Song Speaks For Itself
After all we were all young and foolish once. Now we are just old and foolish.

Maybe there really were Raindrops Falling or it might have Been my Imagination
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid welcomed us to the Seventies with Rain Drops Falling On Our Heads. OK, maybe I'm squeezing it on the theme but we welcomed in the new decade with Rain Drops Falling On My Head. (#1 Single on Billboard Charts for January 3, 1970) Was this a harbinger of things to come?
I Don't Think It Was Just My Imagination
So many things happened in the seventies it's almost like a dream now. But I really don't think it was all Just My Imagination.
Joy To My World
Thank you Charlene for inviting me along for the ride. I just want to say that you bring "Joy To My World."
